Electoral register details can be confirmed online

Manx residents will be able to confirm their details for the electoral register online for the first time this year.

Registration forms for the annual update will be sent out to all households on the Isle of Man in the next few days.

However, those whose details haven't changed will be able to respond online, by text or with a phone call rather than returning the form by post.

The Government hopes these changes mean most households will be able to confirm their details within 60 seconds, making the process simpler.

The deadline for registrations to be completed is June 17th.
