Witnesses sought following Kewaigue crash

Police are appealing for witnesses following a crash which closed a road in Douglas for several hours.

The dark-coloured Toyota crashed at Kewaigue shortly after 2am on Saturday, leaving the road shut for a number of hours while investigations took place.

Officers say the car had been driven at speed along Old Castletown Road before the crash.

It's believed there were a number of other road users in the area at the time who may have seen what happened.
