A ceremony to mark the 100th anniversary of the death of a soldier from Ramsey will take place later.
Driver Caesar Corlett died from wounds received while serving in France with the 64th Brigade Ammunition Column during World War I.
Driver Corlett is commemorated on Ramsey's War Memorial, alongside his brother who died in Ireland in 1914, and his sister's fiance, who was killed three days later.
Members of the family will be in attendance as a cross is laid at the memorial at 6.30 this evening before a minute's silence - members of the public are welcome to attend.
