The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture will let Knockaloe Farm rather than developing the site.
DEFA had sought interest from organisations keen to develop visitor attractions, food and heritage facilities on the site last year, but has decided against pursuing any of the proposals submitted.
The site has been listed to let with a local estate agent, and is available as the whole farm or in lots to agricultural tenants.
The former World War One internment camp site was previously operated as an experimental farm by the Government, but closed in 2010.
The Department confirmed the Royal Manx Agricultural Show and the Mart will continue to take place at the Farm.
