The emergency services were called out after a crashed car was found in a field in the south of the Island.
The vehicle was found by a local farmer at around 7.30 this morning just before Ballakaighan Corner on the Castletown by-pass road.
Fire crews had to use cutting equipment to get the driver out of the car, before paramedics took him to Noble's hospital for treatment - his condition isn't thought to be serious.
Fire officers and paramedics remained at the scene for around 30 minutes, while police remained to investigate the incident further.
