Laxey shook off their recent form as they put Winter Indoor league leaders Port St Mary to the sword at Laxey Glen.
John Wood and Andrew Jessop both scored near-perfect 99s while international shooters Harry Creevy and Gemma Kermode, on 97 and 96 respectively, did well. They were closely followed by Laxey clubmate Stephen Curphey. Kevan Kneale was Port St Mary's top gun on the night but the others could not match their scores from the previous week's meeting.

Port St Mary made up for their unexpected loss by winning the Division 2 and 3 fixtures, though.
The previous meeting between the two clubs recently had been a rearranged midweek fixture and this saw Port St Mary power past a Laxey side short on options for their teams on this occasion, but who delivered a valiant performance nonetheless. Ben Kelly scored 99 for Port while Harry Creevy matched that for Laxey. The ever-dependable Bridget Kneale also bolstered the away side's numbers with a 87.
The home side notched victories in Divisions 2 and 3 which were uncontested by Laxey.

Castletown survive scare by reinvigorated Kirk Michael
For the first time in many a year, Kirk Michael were able to field no less than 16 shooters in a match when they took on Castletown at home.
At the end of a long night in a pleasingly-crowded club room, the visitors won in Division 1 by just two points, with the 97s of Richard Arthur, Ian Arthur and John Brewis tipping the balance.
There was an element of disbelief that the Michael side had come so close and this was in no small part due to the contributions of the influx of new shooters and some returnees to the fold - after working Across - but notable was junior Alisha Gale who carded a 95.
At the top end, the ever-reliable Suzanne McKnight and Alex Trafford weighed in with 98s for Kirk Michael.

Meanwhile, Castletown won the Division 2 match but Kirk Michael had a handsome win in Division 3 due their strength of numbers - and it's not often the home side have been able to say that. The loss dents Castletown's pride in the league race.
Sulby see off Sandsiders
Orry Teare led the way for Sulby with a fine 99 as they outfought IoMSC Sandsiders. Solid shooting from the home side, with 98s from Fergus Coulter, Mark Cain and Julian Teare steered Sulby to a handsome win.
And yet Sandsiders were not too shabby, with 98s from Will Jones and Andy Traynor setting a good pace.
