A crack down on Manx drivers using UK-registered vehicles found 10 motorists driving without tax in 90 minutes.
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit revealed the first hour and a half of the campaign led to them finding 10 cars being used locally, despite not going through the Manx vehicle test.
Police confirmed they would be targetting such vehicles over a three-day period to reduce the number of untaxed cars on Manx roads.
Those visiting the Island are able to use their cars for up to a year providing they don't take up residency during that time.
