Young people on the Isle of Man want to see more education on cyberbullying and support for those affected in the Island's schools - that's according to research by the Department of Education and Children.

Students from all five of the DEC's secondary schools and the University College Isle of Man took part in a focus group after a youth survey revealed local students are worried about cyberbullying.

The focus group wants to see hard-hitting education on cyberbullying, as well as education for teachers in online behaviour trends, plus support in schools for those being targetted online.

The Department's Children's Service Partnership will not look into the recommendations and report back to the focus group later this year.
