Police issue passenger reminder after stopping van driver

Police are reminding drivers that they are responsible for ensuring their passengers are travelling safely.

The warning comes after officers stopped a van carrying passengers inappropriately in the back.

The driver was given a fine and will have their licence endorsed with three penalty points.

Officers say it is a driver's responsibility to look after any passengers they're carrying.
