A man needed treatment for facial injuries following an altercation in Douglas Town Centre.
The incident took place at around 5pm yesterday in the Castle Street area - both men have since been arrested.
Officers say the area was busy with pedestrians and cyclists at the time, and it's known a number of people witnessed the altercation.
Those investigating want to hear from a man on a pushbike and a male in a wheelchair who are known to have been in the area.
