The Island's population has fallen by 1.4% over the last five years.
Last year's census revealed the number of people living on the Isle of Man is 83,314.
The economically active population has fallen by almost 2000 over the same period.
However, the Government believes the population has already grown by around 200 since the census took place last April.
The Council of Ministers' Programme for Government recently identified growing the population to support the economy as a priority.
