The Island's roads police are urging motorists to stick to reduced speed limits through roadworks following complaints from workers.
The Roads Policing Unit revealed there have been complaints of drivers not sticking to the temporary 30mph limit on Richmond Hill, which is usually a 50mph zone.
Officers warn they will be carrying out speed checks in the area and stopping those who break the limit.
The police are also reminding drivers that the limit is there to protect those working on the road.
