The Department of Health and Social Care is urging Manx residents to learn about bowel cancer.
A campaign to raise awareness of the illness launched in the North West earlier this year, which the DHSC is supporting.
The campaign promotes the bowel cancer screening programme, which involves those aged 60 to 74 being sent a screening kit in the post every two years.
Health authorities want those who receive a kit to use it, as the test can detect cancers at an early stage.
Around 2000 people are diagnosed with bowel cancer in the North West every year.
