Those looking to park in Douglas town centre could need extra time finding a space as the latest resurfacing works on the promenade get underway.
Parking has been suspended on both sides of the road from the Sea Terminal to Greensills Corner as the Department of Infrastructure begins its four-week project, which will cost around £75,000.
It will take two weeks to complete the current section, before works move further along the promenade.
The road will remain open throughout the scheme with traffic management in place.
The work is a short-term fix while the DoI finalises plans for a full reconstruction of the promenade.
