Plans submitted for nine new units at Balthane

A scrap metal business wants to build nine new units on the Balthane Industrial Estate.

Manx Metals have submitted two planning applications to develop a set of eight units for light industrial use, as well as one separate unit on the site of the company's former scrapyard.

The development would be a total of 1125 square metres and include 37 parking spaces.

Malew Commissioners have already indicated they won't be objecting to the plans.
