Civil aviation authorities in the Czech Republic are investigating an incident involving a plane that landed at Ronaldsway last week.
CityWing's Belfast service, which is operated by Czech airline Van Air, had to return to the Island during Storm Doris last Thursday.
The UK Civil Aviation Authority told Energy FM that the Czech authorities are looking into the incident.
The CAA has suspended Van Air's permission to fly in UK airspace while the investigation takes place, resulting in disruption for CityWing customers.
CityWing has chartered other carriers to cover some of its services, but a number of today's flights have been cancelled.
