Work permits for hospitality workers are being relaxed in a bid to boost the Island's tourism industry.
The Department of Economic Development will relax rules from today until October 31st to help local companies fill seasonal positions.
The DED says some firms have trouble finding local workers for temporary roles, so they will now be able to bring in workers from off Island as long as they have at least 12 months experience in the sector.
Companies will also have to register with the Department in advance, indicating how many workers they will need.
