Police investigate Summerhill Glen assault

Police are appealing for information following an assault involving a man and woman in Summerhill Glen.

The incident happened at around 1pm on Saturday 18th of February at the bottom end of the glen near the Summerhill entrance.

Officers believe four people were walking through the glen prior to the assault and are particularly keen to hear from any of these people.

The police are also reassuring the public that this was an isolated incident, and that those involved are known to each other, with a male having been arrested and bailed while enquiries continue.
