Fire crews were called to a six-vehicle incident in Ballasalla after overhead power lines came down.
Five of the vehicles were entangled with the power lines on the main road to Ballasalla on the approach from Douglas after they were brought down during Storm Doris yesterday, while a sixth had a damaged roof after being hit by a pylon.
The drivers had to stay in their vehicles while engineers from Manx Utilities isolated the power to make the area safe.
None of the motorists were injured in the incident.
