Those who purchased season tickets for the Steam Railway last year won't be compensated for cancelled journeys.
33 of the journeys scheduled between Douglas and Port Erin failed to cover the entire distance of the line, while 21 were cancelled completely due to a range of reliability issues.
Speaker of the House of Keys Juan Watterson asked the Infrastructure Minister if those who missed out in 2016 will be able to use the same season ticket this year.
However, Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer told this month's sitting of Tynwald passengers are warned in advance that the vintage nature of the operation may result in some cancellations, so his Department doesn't think compensation is necessary.
