The Steam Packet Company has announced the overnight sailing to Douglas will leave Heysham earlier than scheduled to avoid the worst of the weather.
With Storm Doris affecting conditions in the Irish Sea, the Ben-my-Chree will depart Heysham at 1.30am, 45 minutes earlier than originally planned. Passengers are asked to check in by 1am.
This evening's journey from Douglas will still go ahead as planned at 7.45pm.
The operator is warning that more disruption is likely tomorrow, with winds reaching severe gale force nine forecast.
