Disciplinary proceedings against the Island's former Attorney General which were later dropped cost over £100,000.
Chief Minister Howard Quayle confirmed in a written answer in this month's Tynwald sitting that the total cost of proceedings against Stephen Harding were £110,542.49.
The action came after Mr Harding was cleared of criminal charges of perjury and committing acts against public justice - a case which cost the taxpayer more than £2.5m.
Mr Quayle revealed all proceedings were discontinued following Mr Harding's retirement on grounds of ill health last year.
