Police urge drivers to lock cars following theft in Castletown

Police are reminding Manx drivers to lock their vehicles after thieves struck in Castletown.

Officers are investigating after an item was taken from the back of a car parked in the old Grammar School car park between 12.45pm and 1pm yesterday.

Police insist vehicles must be kept locked while parked or unattended in order to deter thieves.

Anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious between the relevant times is asked to contact Castletown Police Station on 822222.
