Three women injured in nightclub assault

Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault in a Douglas nightclub.

The incident took place in the Courthouse at around 1.25am on Sunday, resulting in three women being injured.

Two of the women needed hospital treatment, while a man was arrested and bailed while investigations continue.

Officers say a glass was used to inflict facial injuries, which are described as non-life threatening.

CCTV shows that the club was busy at the time, so a number of people may have seen what happened.
