An MHK will ask why petrol prices in the Isle of Man are higher than in the UK.

Onchan member Rob Callister says the cost of fuel is on average 6p to 10p per litre more at Manx petrol stations than in the UK.

Last month Ellan Vannin Fuels claimed in a post on Facebook that more than 76p per litre goes to the Isle of Man Government in duty and VAT.

Chairman of the Office of Fair Trading Martyn Perkins will give his answer at this month's sitting of Tynwald.
