The Ben-my-Chree will sail this evening after undergoing repairs following a crash in Douglas harbour.
The Steam Packet Company confirmed the vessel underwent repairs following a structural and underwater inspection, which were approved by surveyors from the Island's ship registry.
However, the crossing will operate 45 minutes later than scheduled due to the weather conditions, allowing the state of sea to improve before departure.
The Ben will now leave Douglas at 8.30pm, with the return crossing to Douglas delayed until 3.30am.
The damage was sustained yesterday evening after the vessel hit King Edward Pier while attempting to dock in stronger than expected winds.
