Work to refurbish a pedestrian bridge in the south of the Island will get underway later this month.
The Department of Infrastructure says the Cain Bridge in Castletown, which provides access to pedestrians across the town's harbour, is in need of work after decades of exposure to the elements.
The bridge will be craned out of position and transported to a workshop to allow the work to be completed as quickly as possible.
An exact timetable hasn't been confirmed, but the Department is hoping the structure will be reinstalled and fully operational by Easter.
