Firearms, crossbow handed in during weapons amnesty

The Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team revealed some of the items handed in during the weapons amnesty so far.

Police have revealed some of the items handed in during the first week of the February weapons amnesty.

Officers in the Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team have received a variety of weapons and firearms, posting an image of the items on Facebook.

Weapons can be surrendered no questions asked at police station in Ramsey, Peel and Castletown, as well as Police Headquarters in Douglas.

The amnesty finishes on February 28th.
