Burglars target Onchan home

Police are investigating after burglars targeted a home in Onchan.

Between 10am and 5pm last Wednesday, significant damage was caused to external and internal doors at a property on Royal Avenue West.

No items were taken, but officers say the damage shows a serious effort was made to gain entry.

It's believed the damage may have alerted anyone who was in the area to the incident.

Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious is asked to contact Police Headquarters on 631212.
