Venue change for meat plant meeting

The venue of a meeting to discuss the future of the meat plant has been changed.

The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture will now hold the public meeting at St John's Primary School instead of Peel Golf Club.

The discussion is still scheduled for 7pm next Thursday.

Those involved in the agriculture industry will have a chance to voice their opinions on the options for the future of the plant.
