OFT issues HP battery warning

The Isle of Man Office of Fair Trading is warning those who have HP laptops that some model's batteries pose a safety risk.

The manufacturer is recalling the batteries in a number of its Notebook computers, including models in the HP Envy and HP ProBook ranges.

HP have published more details of the models affected on their website.

The OFT says anyone with one of the machines affected should stop using it immediately and wait for HP to send a replacement.
