Rates in the Island's capital are set to rise by almost 1.5% for the next financial year.
Douglas Borough Council announced that its rate for the 2017-18 period will be 408p in the pound.
Rates in the town were unchanged at 402p in the pound last year, and have climbed by 23p over the last eight years.
Council leader David Christian cited the current inflation rate as one of the reasons for the increase.
