Making Douglas a desireable place to live, improving the town's infrastructure and building a sense of community are among Douglas Borough Council's priorities for the next four years.
The local authority has published its corporate plan for 2017-2021, which includes what the Council sees as its responsibilities, priorities and objectives.
The document says the Council will support events and promote business to make Douglas a place people want to work and visit, as well as live in.
The plan also includes further developing recycling, maintaining and improving open activity spaces and promoting tourism.
The full 12-page document can be found on the Council's website.
