Ramsey rates frozen for next year

Rates in Ramsey will stay the same for the next year.

Ramsey Town Commissioners have confirmed they will keep the rate at 348p in the pound for the 2017-18 financial year.

Lead member for Finance and General Purposes Juan McGuinness proposed the freeze, which was unanimously agreed by the board.

It's the fifth year in a row the local authority has kept costs the same for ratepayers.
