Pet owners on the Island could soon find it easier and cheaper to take their animals abroad.
Tynwald will be ask to update laws about pets travelling between EU member states in line with British legislation at this month's sitting.
The scheme has been in practice on the Island because of the common travel area with the UK already, but the formally updated paperwork will go before members next week.
The new rules are designed to make it simpler for those making return journeys with non-commercial animals within the European Union.
