Sure CEO dies suddenly

One of the Island's telecoms providers has announced its CEO has died suddenly.

Sure confirmed Eddie Saints, who was also in charge of its operations in the Channel Islands, passed away suddenly at the weekend.

Mr Saints was appointed as CEO of Sure in Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man in 2008.

The company says he made a huge contribution in his role and will be sorely missed.
