Officers in the south of the Island will be using Port Erin railway station as a temporary base.
Port Erin Police Station closed as part of cost cutting measures in 2014, leaving the Southern Neighbourhood Policing Team based in Castletown.
However, the unit will now have an officer available at the train station in the evenings when needed, and will use social media to announce when they're open.
The team will also continue to run its other drop-in sessions in the area.
