Thirty one shooters took part in the third round of Ayre Clay Target Club’s winter English Sporting league at Blue Point on Sunday, kindly sponsored by Chrystals Estate Agents.

Marty Kneen was the winner of the 50 target competition, scoring 46/50. Kevin Oates was second on 44 with Paul Mihailovits taking third spot with 40.

Results:

A Class: 1, Martin Kneen 46; 2, Kevin Oates 44; 3, Paul Mihailovits 40.

B Class: 1, Chris Parker 36; 2, Richard Davies 34; 3, Eddie Brew 33.

C Class: 1, Lynn Macleod 28; 2, Fred Waggett 27; 3, Jordan Dougherty 26.

This week at Blue Point is the fourth round of the Down the Line winter league, sponsored by JW Kneen and Son and Top Spec Fencing. Entries close at 10.15am
