The Island's inflation rate remained steady in December, staying at 1%.
The Consumer Prices Index is unchanged from November, and has been positive since September last year.
Oil and other fuels saw the biggest jump in price, climbing by over a fifth compared with 12 months earlier, while potatoes, DIY materials and tea were also signifcantly more expensive.
Children's outerwear was down by over 10% though, while bacon, biscuits and cakes, and butter all fell in price.
