Fines for children who miss school could double

Fines for parents whose children don't attend school regularly are set to double.
Education and Children Minister Graham Cregeen will ask Tynwald to approve new student attendance regulations at this month's sitting.
The changes would result in the fixed penalty rising from £50 to £100 for those who aren't in school regularly.
