Bushy's reach TT agreement with DED

Bushy's Brewery will be able to keep using the phrase 'Bushy's TT' after reaching an agreement with the Department of Economic Development.

The two parties have agreed a deal in principal which will allow both to recognise each other's intellectual property.

It means Bushy's will still be able to produce their t-shirts, stickers and other merchandise with the 'Bushy's TT' term, which it trademarked in 2014.

The company's managing director is hoping the deal will be formalised in the coming weeks.

Bushy's had been facing the threat of legal action after the Manx Government claimed the brewery couldn't use the 'TT' letters.
