Bushy's thank public for support

A local brewery threatened with legal action over its use of the term 'TT' is thanking the Manx public for its support.

Thousands have taken to social media to voice support for Bushy's since it revealed the Department of Economic Development is threatening to sue the company.

A petition calling for Bushy's to be allowed to use the letters has also gained over 1,500 signatures, resulting in Bushy's posting a message of thanks on Facebook.

The brewery also revealed it hopes to have an update soon after the DED put out a statement saying it wants to reach an agreement which suits both parties.

The dispute is over the brewery's use of the phrase 'Bushy's TT', despite Bushy's having registered the term as a trademark in 2014.
