Fundraising page set up to help sick teenager

A fundraising page to help a young mother from the Island suffering from a life-threatening condition has been set up.

Callie Davies was admitted to Noble's before Christmas, but was unable to secure a bed in a specialist hospital for four weeks.

The teenager was transferred to the UK earlier this week following a campaign on social media led by her mum.

The 17-year-old initially had gallstones, but has since developed pancreatitis, forcing her to miss her first Christmas with her son.

A Just Giving page has now been set up to allow the family to celebrate Christmas properly once Callie's condition improves.
