One of the Island's churches wants to be more accessible to the disabled.
St Ninian's Church has applied for planning permission to construct ramped access to the church, which is a registered building.
The proposal includes changes to the main porch and alterations to the side chapel.
The first stage of the Island's new Disability Discrimination Act came in earlier this month, meaning businesses, offices and shops must be accessible.
