Fire crews spent two hours tackling a blaze at a recycling centre in Tromode.
Officers were called out just after 2.30pm yesterday following a report of a fire in an industrial unit, which had become heavily smoke-logged.
Those working at the unit tried to extinguish the fire before the fire service arrived, but found the flames had spread deep into the recycled material.
Firefighters were able to put the fire out, before removing the damaged material and clearing the smoke.
There was no structural damage to the building, but a bailer unit sustained some fire damage.
