Van driver failed to stop after collision

Police are trying to trace a van driver who failed to stop after a crash on Cooil Road.

The collision happened near the junction between Cooil Road and Lhergy Cripperty at around 4.20pm on Monday.

A white van crossed the white line in the middle of the road while heading towards Douglas, clipping a black Nissan Juke travelling in the opposite direction.

Anyone who can help police identify the driver of the van involved is asked to contact Police Headquarters on 631212.
