It was a day for firsts in the second round of the Paul’s Gunstocks’ sponsored English Skeet winter league at Ayre Clay Target Club’s Blue Point on Sunday. Junior shooter Ted Davis shot his first ever 25 straight in competition to win C Class and fifth overall. Nigel Moffatt also shot his first ever competitive straight to win A Class and take the overall high gun. Marty Kneen was second and James Simpson took third place.

Results:

A Class: 1, Nigel Moffatt 49; 2, Marty Kneen 48; 3, James Simpson 47.

B Class: 1, Bob Corlett 42; 2, Ben Richards; 3, Ted Kermeen 24.

C Class: 1, Ted Davis 45; 2, Jordan Dougherty 38; 3, Peter Lowe.
