More than half of the empty public sector houses available to let in the Island's capital have been empty for more than three months.
Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer confirmed there are currently 97 void properties in Douglas, 56 of which are for re-let while 41 are part of capital programmes.
Eight of the homes designated for re-let have been empty for more than a year, while a further nine have been available for over six months.
Willaston and the Town Centre wards have the most void properties while Olympia has just three, all of which have been vacant for more than a year.
The figures were revealed in this month's sitting of Tynwald following a question from MLC David Cretney.
