Police appeal for help catching burglar

Police are appealing for information after a burglar targeted a property in the north of the Island.

The person entered a property just off Andreas Road at around 8pm yesterday while the occupants were at home.

The northern neighbourhood policing team says it will step up patrols in the area, but the public can also take a number of measures to ensure they aren't the victim of such a crime, including locking doors and not leaving valuables on display.

Anyone who can help police find the person responsible is asked to contact CID at Police Headquarters on 631212.
