Plans for a housing development with shopping facilities in Crosby have been submitted for a second time.
An Island-based developer wants to build 21 homes and a retail unit with office space, reducing the number of proposed new homes from 28.
The site, which is on the opposite side of the main Douglas to Peel road from the Crosby Hotel would include a retail unit with a convenience store or supermarket as well as 34 parking spaces, with the option to add a post office, a pharmacy or dentist and office space for the developer.
The initial application for a development on Ballaglonney Farm stalled earlier this year following concern from local residents.
Marown Commissioners also raised concerns that the site is not zoned for development and asked for the development to include affordable two- and three-bed homes as well as bigger properties.
